In the following article, you will meet Anna Oom and get an insight into what a day as a Head of Revenue Marketing can look like.
What does a typical day for you look like?
I often have many meetings; I have meetings with people in my department, the other marketing team, as well as with representatives from sales typically. If I am not in meetings I work on planning and executing on campaigns, projects on our online platforms, supporting sales in different ways, marketing strategy and much more.
What is something important for you in the workplace?
I enjoy working with friendly, helpful, intelligent and fun people. I am lucky to have that in Qmatic.
How did you first come across Qmatic?
Through a former colleague at my previous workplace who got a job at Qmatic. I didn’t consider changing jobs at that time, but a few years later I found a really interesting job ad at Qmatic and the rest is history.
What do you like most about working for Qmatic?
I can’t pick one. I would have to say: What I do, my colleagues and that I have great trust and freedom from the leadership team to get the work done.
Is there any specific event while working for Qmatic that you remember and want to share?
There hasn’t been that much of physical events due to the pandemic, so when we got to meet up with the entire sales team in the Hague this fall, that was really great!
Name/describe something that makes you happy.
Spending time in nature, either in the woods or on the sea in our sailing boat. My family, baking and second-hand shopping.
What is something you are proud of?
At the moment I am very proud of the launch of our local websites, which is my main project at the moment.
Fun fact about you?
I used to take singing classes, so I can sing arias.
