We are excited to announce the latest version of Qmatic Orchestra  - Orchestra 7.4  is now available! This version provides improved security measures that comply with the latest industry standards and regulations and much more.

Enhanced Security Measures

Orchestra 7.4 provides security measures that comply with the latest industry standards and regulations. We understand the importance of data security for our customers, and that's why we've integrated strong ciphers with the TLS 1.3 protocol. This protocol provides several benefits, including stronger cryptographic algorithms such as Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDHE) for key exchange and ChaCha20-Poly1305 for encryption. It also reduces attack surfaces by eliminating several cryptographic primitives and features that are no longer considered secure. Better forward secrecy ensures that the encryption keys used to secure the connection are ephemeral and not reused. Additionally, the improved handshake process streamlines the connection process, resulting in less time spent on establishing a secure connection.

Improved Customer Journey

The heart of a successful customer journey is ensuring that the customer understands each step and interaction throughout the journey. With Orchestra 7.4, we've introduced a central point that handles translation through the General Admin module found in Qmatic Xtend. This translation handled by General Admin is now scalable to be used by more modules, enabling you to customize the customer journey to better suit customer needs.

Support for Open ID Connect

Orchestra 7.4 supports the OpenID Connect (OIDC) standard, enabling clients to manage users with external identity providers such as Google, Salesforce, Amazon Cognito, and Facebook. This future-proof solution establishes a trusted connection between Orchestra and the external identity provider, ensuring secure user authentication and authorization.

Optimized System Performance with Qmatic Xtend

To ensure that your system stays up-to-date and optimized, we recommend pairing Orchestra 7.4 with Qmatic Care. With Qmatic Care you'll get access to Qmatic Xtend, the extension manager in Orchestra, where we add and update all your extensions. This is a must-have if you want to keep your solutions up-to-date. With Qmatic Xtend, Qmatic administrators can easily manage the installation and updating of extensions available to support the organizational workflow further. Each extension in the Qmatic Xtend main overview includes a brief description, release notes, guides, manuals, and more. You can select the extension to display the extension's details page, where you can learn more or install an extension directly.

Essential features:

  • Support for OpenID Connect (OIDC), an open standard for authentication, enables clients to manage users with external identity providers.
  • Support for TLS 1.3
  • Improved language support throughout the customer journey
