NEW APPS FOR QMATIC CERTIFIED HARDWARE: QMATIC KIOSK AND QMATIC DISPLAY

Earlier this year, we introduced Qmatic Certified Hardware, a new lineup of hardware solutions from leading manufacturers that have been rigorously tested and verified for use in different touchpoints across the customer journey with Qmatic's software and applications. For Qmatic Certified Hardware, we developed new apps that integrate the hardware devices seamlessly with the Qmatic platform to ensure reliable and optimal performance for the best Qmatic experience.   

The new apps, Qmatic Display and Qmatic Kiosk are built specifically for our certified Waiting Area Displays and Check-in Kiosks, bringing new, powerful features to support our client's customer journeys and streamline deployment. And over time, many other exciting features will be released. 

Let’s take a closer look at the apps.

Qmatic Display

The ability to display queue information and deliver voice announcements to customers in your waiting area is critical to help create a relaxed and informed waiting experience while optimizing the customer flow. The Qmatic Display App lets you notify customers when it's their turn and where to go by combining queue information with announcements on your waiting area displays. In addition, information about your services, videos, and other types of content can be displayed using playlists.

With the Qmatic Display app, we've introduced an exciting new feature that enables you to generate and deliver announcements in over 50 languages with text-to-speech technology. You can choose from several female and male voices to ensure your announcements are delivered in the most appropriate tone and style for your audience.

With announcements generated by text-to-speech, you don't have to rely on expensive recordings if changes are needed, saving you money and time. It also enables you to deliver announcements in a language other than your organization's primary language.

Additional features in the app include support for portrait and landscape orientation, password protection, and media content cache. With the media content cache, the app stores content from your playlist to your waiting area display or media player. This enables you to continue to deliver content if the connection is lost. It also reduces network load and ensures faster loading times. You can see how much storage is used in the system settings section and clear the cache if needed. 

Qmatic Kiosk

The new lineup of Check-in Kiosks brings many possibilities to help you create a quick and effortless check-in and queue process when customers arrive at your locations. The Qmatic Kiosk App streamlines the deployment of certified check-in kiosks and keeps them secure with kiosk mode. This enables you to lock the check-in kiosk when used in a public setting, preventing customers from accidentally closing the kiosk app, blocking access to settings, and disabling screen timeout. Effectively eliminating the possibility of tampering. Another benefit of kiosk mode is that the Qmatic Kiosk app will start automatically after restart.

The Qmatic Kiosk app is designed to detect printers automatically and provides you with printer status notifications. For instance, if your printer runs out of paper or encounters any other error, you'll be notified immediately. The app also offers an export logs feature that enables you to access device information and log entries, which can be used for troubleshooting purposes.
