FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Qmatic Web Agent?

Qmatic Web Agent is an intelligent web chat widget that understands natural language, answers visitor questions from your knowledge base, matches visitors to the right service, and books appointments directly through Orchestra — 24/7, without requiring staff involvement.

How does it connect to my existing system?

Web Agent connects directly to your Qmatic Orchestra system using your domain and authentication token. It reads your live service availability and creates appointments in real time — no middleware, no separate integration project.

What happens if Web Agent can't answer a question?

If Web Agent cannot confidently answer from the knowledge base, it clearly tells the visitor and directs them to the appropriate contact channel — phone, counter, or email — so no visitor is left without a path forward.

How long does setup take?

Most clients are live within a day. Connect Orchestra, upload your knowledge base documents, copy one script tag, and the widget is live on your website. No IT project, no long implementation cycle.

Can I brand it to match my organisation?

Yes — fully. Customise colours, logo, title, welcome message, and feedback labels. You can run it in per-branch or all-branches mode, with different configurations per deployment.

Can visitors join a queue as a walk-in?

Yes. If no appointment slots are available today, the chatbot can offer a mobile ticket instead.

Can conversations be handed over to a human agent?

Yes. You configure a link to your live agent channel and the bot surfaces it when it cannot handle a question.
