Four years ago, Qmatic revolutionized citizen experience for visitors to Utrecht City Hall. This was done with a citizen-oriented visitor and information system. Today, Qmatic is announcing that it won the tender for the next implementation phase for City of Utrecht leading edge Customer Journey Management system.

“The past years successful collaboration between Qmatic and the City of Utrecht has resulted in a very strong partnership. We are very happy to continue the journey together and look forward to cooperating closely on several new developments that we have agreed upon. All focused on improving the citizens experience as they interact with Utrecht City Hall,” commented Renze de Ruiter, Vice President, Qmatic Northern Europe.

The City of Utrecht, renowned for its innovative and inspirational environment and one of the fastest growing cities in the Netherlands is the capital of the Utrecht region, which is ranked as one of Europe’s most competitive regions. And with over 2000 daily visitors, Utrecht City Hall is one of the largest city halls in the Netherlands.

In this unique environment, the continued enhancement of meeting the citizens’ requirements, providing excellent service, and managing operations in an effective way, are essential. Qmatic will contribute to the development by implementing a cloud based seamless solution that will provide the City of Utrecht with a new state-of-the-art appointment system, which will enhance the staff and citizen experience. The solution is based on Qmatic Orchestra 7, Qmatic’s latest software for advanced customer journey management. The self-service kiosks Intro 17 and Intro 5 are used for visitor check-in, while digital signage will guide citizens throughout the customer journey. The solution will be deployed, hosted and maintained by Qmatic through our service offering Managed Service by Qmatic.

“We are happy to continue the collaboration with Qmatic. With this new step we hope to be able to take our services to an even higher level,” said Corrine van Veldhuisen, Program Manager, Public Services at the City of Utrecht.
