Keeping the customers
People don’t want to shop for food anymore. They don’t even want to think about what to have for dinner. What they do want however, is to cook.
How do we know? Well, there seems to be an increasing market for suppliers of
ready made menus and shopping baskets, delivered directly to the consumers’ door. This, of course, is bad news for the supermarkets. The challenge is to get the customers into the shops, and once they are there, to keep them in longer.
